Youth groups needed for Leeds University Research Project
23rd June 2016
Would you like to design and participate in future research with the University of Leeds?
The University of Leeds Centre for Interdisciplinary Childhood and Youth Research (L-CYR) would like to work more closely with local children and young people to ensure that our studies are child/youth friendly and respond to the interests and concerns of local young people.
We are looking for school councils and youth groups in Leeds who are interested in engaging with university researchers from across the University (working on loads of topics from education, to environment, health and engineering etc.) to share your ideas about how you might like to work with us more closely.
A student from the University will be running ~6 focus groups this July to gather perspectives from across the city. If your school council (primary or secondary schools both very welcome) or youth group would like to be involved and would be available for her to come and chat to you for an hour between 18th and 22nd July, please contact Professor Pia Christensen, L-CYR Director via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone: 0113 343 0250 by 15th July
